Learn how to make crispy and tasty कॉर्न पकोडा - Corn Pakoda with our chef Sonali Raut.<br /><br />आमच्या Chef सोनाली राऊत सोबत बनवायला शिका चमचमीत आणि खुसखुशीत 'मक्याची भजी'.<br /><br />Corn Pakoda is a simple and crispy sweetcorn based fritters or pakora prepared mainly with chickpea flour and rice flour. It can be eaten as a side dish while having your dal rice for lunch or it can be a perfect evening snack with a cup of masala chai.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />(Serves 4)<br />- 1 cup Corn(boiled & crushed)<br />- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds <br />- 1 tbsp Ginger(finely chopped)<br />- Green Chilli(chopped)<br />- 1 tsp Coriander Powder<br />- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 2 tbsp Corn(boiled)<br />- 2 tbsp Rice Flour<br />- 1/2 cup Gram Flour<br />- Salt<br />- Water<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Take 1cup boiled corn. Reserve 2 tbsp corn and crush the remaining corn <br />2. Put the crushed corn in a large bowl and add cumin seeds, finely chopped ginger, green chilli, coriander powder, red chilli powder, boiled corn, rice flour, gram flour and salt on it <br />3. Mix all of this together <br />4. Now add a little water to the mixture and mix it again<br />5. Once the batter is ready, heat oil in the pan and start putting little pieces from the batter, into it<br />6. Fry them on a medium to high heat, till they turn golden brown<br />7. Do the same with the remaining batter <br />8. Once made, take it out and serve it hot with tomato sauce or chutney
